Lagging
Lagging involves the installation of thermal insulation and rigid or semi-rigid coating around pipes, devices and air ducts. It helps control energy consumption, reduces pollutants, and allows the preservation our valuable natural resources.
The key tasks of pipe insulators are: manufacturing, assembling and installing insulation materials on plumbing, heating, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and on pressure devices to reduce the transmission of heat, cold, noise, smoke and fire; creating patterns; applying coating; and removing insulation materials.
