Hardwood Lumber
At Freymond Lumber we produce a variety of hardwood species from the local forest. In hardwoods, our predominant species are hard and soft maple, red oak, aspen, basswood, white and yellow birch and ash. We do also produce lesser amounts of butternut, white oak, cherry and beech.
We saw a large percentage of our production in 4/4. This lumber is all graded by a licensed lumber grader and available in all grades.
We have the capability of sorting different thicknesses and we sort grades or lengths as required. If you have a specific need, just give us a call, and we will see if we can work it into our sawing schedule.
Softwood Lumber
From the local area we produce white and red pine, hemlock and spruce softwood lumber.
Most of our softwood production is sold on a retail basis from our location in Bancroft. The exception is red pine which we use to cut a variety of timber for the pressure treating market. This red pine is sold to wholesale customers.
Pallet Lumber
From our mill, we produce hardwood hearts, mostly in 4"x4" and 4"x 6" sizes. If you have a special size requirement, we have the capability of sawing any required dimension.
We also have random width and random length 3 common hardwood pallet material available.
We are a large producer of aspen hearts as well. Our normal sizes are 4"x4", 4"x6" and 6"x6". If different sized are required we can saw as per your needs.
