  • Planning, coordinating and using the value analysis method with the aim of minimizing costs and/or increasing value
  • Proposing and securing rationalization measures by directing and controlling project teams for optimum fulfillment of quality, cost and schedule requirements plus moderating and coordinating value analysis and quality function deployment teams (QFD) in order to fulfill cost targets and design competitive products
  • Incorporating all involved units into the product development process chain while paying particular attention to customer and market requirements
  • Create the necessary transparency and decision support for the management to ensure the business success of the company
  • Development Controlling and cost estimating for automotive products
 
YOUR TASKS
 
  • Product Cost Management
  • Managing the work of value analysis teams, involving all the necessary internal and external positions or departments in order to work out functional and cost-effective products and processes
  • Identifying ratio potentials in product design and in the manufacturing process, with involvement of suppliers, and thereby ensuring the realization of the company’s competitiveness
  • Working out or developing methods and systems to ensure the competitiveness of our products
  • Selecting and specifying projects that are to be processed for VA/ECQ, including directly coordinating with the heads of affected organizational units in order to fulfill the objectives of those units
  • Complying with the targets that have been agreed upon with the client as regards quality, costs, and deadlines (Q-C-D) using procedures that will guarantee the primary result (e.g. risk management, failure mode and effects analysis, change management, scheduling) in order to fulfill customer requirements with optimal efficiency
  • Presenting reports of part results to clients in the agreed level of detail and at agreed points in time (according to Hella’s procedures) in order to make the necessary information transparent for processes and decisions
  • Leadership
  • Deploying employees corresponding to their qualifications within the relevant structure.
  • Instructing and supporting employees in a target-oriented and motivating manner to fulfill the tasks
  • Guiding, instructing and supporting employees in function-related tasks
  • Participating in hiring process and responsible to sustain the team performance and evaluation as well as qualification demands
  • Managing of employees according to targets and delegation, to select, to qualify and further develop employees on the basis of a culture of trust, control effectiveness, in order to develop and compensate potential and promote individual competencies, to achieve the targets of the department
