Dock Worker - Night Shift

- Unloading freight from inbound trailers
- Loading outbound trailers
- Distributing freight to PD drivers
- Marking material with identifying information
- Checking manifests and inspecting inbound/outbound shipments
- Assist with the clean up in and around the terminal
- Perform routine dock checks
- Document freight overages, shortages and damages
- Re-weighing incoming shipments and entering data in dock scale
- Foreman relief
- Other Duties as assigned
- Must be able to meet deadlines
- Has the ability to lift heavy freight, some lifting is required
- Must take an active role in safety and maintenance of the warehouse by sweeping the floor, proper storage and safe material handling practices
- TDG and Forklift certification is considered an asset but willing to train

Matco Moving Solutions is seeking Class 1 drivers with Household Goods moving experience to run Western Canada, Northwest Territories and the Yukon.
The Edmonton Dispatcher will work within a multi-branch company providing International, Commercial and House Hold Goods services.
This driver be responsible for completing local deliveries and pickup's within the Dryden area in a timely manner and working on the dock when required.

Lead and direct a dock crew of 5 workers to achieve shift objectives. Communicate, problem solve, and react to challenges with service, safety and operational targets in mind.
