MANAGER, FP&A AND REPORTING

- Project & Finance Lead on implementation of the Financial Reporting and Consolidation System (Onestream Project) with planned go live Q4 2021. This implementation will transform month end consolidation, reporting, analysis, forecasting and budgeting functions;
- Lead our quarterly rolling forecast process, including providing analysis of operating results against budget;
- Support the annual strategic business planning process including the consolidation and review of operational budgets and the development of an annual corporate budget;
- Analyze various business drivers in order to make strategic recommendations to mitigate financial risks and identity opportunities for growth - continuously striving for improvement;
- Prepare monthly internal management reports accompanied by in-depth variance analysis against budget and forecast for Senior Leadership;
- Collaborate with other members of the Finance team on the monthly close process and required reporting to external stakeholders and investors, as needed;
- Preparation of quarterly review materials for senior management and Board of Directors;
- Support the SAP S4 HANA implementation, as required;
- Assist with ad hoc projects, as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or closely related field required;
- CPA designation or CFA designation;
- 7+ years of related work experience in reporting, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), external audit or related role;
- Mining experience an asset, not required;
- Advanced user of Excel (Pivot tables, formulas, graphs, v-lookups, links between spreadsheets);
- Hands-on experience with OneStream, Hyperion Financial Management, Hyperion Budgeting & planning, or similar consolidation and planning tools;
- Strong organization skills, ability to multitask and prioritize competing deadlines in a fast paced environment;
- Strong Analytical skills and excellent attention to detail;
- Outstanding communication skills and ability to collaborate cross functionally and across time zones;
- Self starter with strong initiative and willingness to take on increasing responsibilities;
- Works well under pressure, change and ambiguity;
- A team player who supports team balance and can also work independently.
