Norseman Structures has been in the protection and shelter business for almost 100 years, starting with the fabrication of outfitter and exploration tents in the 1920s. Today we deliver a wide variety of ShelterSolutions to customers in virtually every industry, in a variety of climates, anywhere in the world.
 
We are looking to add a Construction Installer to our team in Saskatoon. Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Construction Installer will be responsible for assembling and erecting steel trusses to form the interior skeleton a building and the installation of the appropriate building cover. This position involves extensive travel to construction sites within Canada, for periods of up to two weeks at a time.
 
Excellent communication and the ability to work with a team will be integral to success in this role. This position is responsible for the installation of our ShelterSolutions from laying pre-cast concrete foundations to assembling and erecting pre-fabricated metal structures all the way to installing the appropriate fabric cover. At times, this position may also dismantle structures and equipment as required.
 
A safety mindset, as well as previous construction industry experience is a must, as this position will be routinely working at heights. Previous experience operating boom lifts, elevated work platforms and reach forklifts are required. The ability to read and understand blueprints and installation instructions is a necessity. Experience in the steel framed, fabric covered building industry would be a definite asset.
