- Knowledge of program development and planning and evaluation principles;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills related to facilitation, consensus-building and consultation;
- Experience and/or ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals, groups and communities;
- Ability to work independently and as an effective team member;
- Ability to communicate in both official languages is an asset;
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Under the supervision of the Health Director, the Patient Navigator will help guide patients through the healthcare system and works to overcome obstacles that are in the way of the patient receiving the care and treatment they require in the Mushkegowuk region.
