The Asia-Pacific Geophysics Student Conference (APGSC) is the first student-led and student-organized international geophysics conference in the Asia-Pacific region. The theme of APGSC is "Bridging the Gap between Exploration and Solid-Earth Geophysics". We are devoted to creating a platform for gathering students with different geophysical backgrounds to exchange ideas, showcase research results, and explore the frontiers of the geophysics and related fields. We hope to help students better understand current and future developments of the geophysics field and build a bridge between exploration and solid-earth geophysics.
To achieve above goals, the 1st Asia-Pacific Geophysics Student Conference: Bridging the Gap between Exploration and Solid-Earth Geophysics, jointly organized by University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and SEG, is going to be held on 6-10 September, 2020 in Hefei, China. Professionals and students in the related fields from Asia-Pacific region are invited to attend this conference.
