The Buildings Show and BUILDEX Alberta are coming together to provide a national platform that virtually connects more than 70,000 design, construction and real estate professionals across Canada at Buildings Week, November 30 - December 4, 2020. Powered by Buildings Canada and Informa Connect, Buildings Week offers high quality content, targeted networking and new business opportunities, at your convenience.
 
The virtual event experience offers everything you have come to rely on from the face-to-face event, plus innovative features not possible from the in-person show. Attend interactive panel discussions, hear from industry thought leaders, discover leading product innovations, connect with old friends and much more. While the delivery has changed, the quality is the same! 
 
2020 Seminar Program
 
Interact and learn directly from the thought leaders making a difference in the industry. Review and register for over 100 online professionally accredited educational seminars,
virtual panels, technical presentations, keynote sessions and professional development workshops.
 
Attend, listen and watch a mixture of live, pre-recorded and on-demand content from across the industry. Search, chat and network with other attendees viewing the same educational session or demonstration. Follow the conversation or get involved in the discussion with other attendees by using interactive audience polls, speaker Q&As, and group chats running alongside the live video of the presentation.
 
2020 Con-ed Credits
 
Select seminars and workshops are accredited for continuing education by the following associations:
 
ARIDO Professional Development Credits
Earn ARIDO PD credits by attending a seminar, keep a copy of the seminar’s certificate for your records and report it in ARIDO’s online reporting system. To decide what qualify as General Education (GE) and Health and Safety (HS) refer to the “2019-2021 Professional Development - Member PD Guide”. 
 
BOMI Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Designation Credits
Earn BOMI credits by attending the seminars accredited by the Building Owners and Managers Institute. Credits will be granted based on the time length of approved seminar. Attendees can earn 1 BOMI credit for each hour seminar, 1.5 BOMI credits for each hour and a half seminar, etc. Seminars which are 1 hour and 15 minutes long will only be granted 1 BOMI credit.
 
BSS Continuing Education Credits
Earn BSS credits by attending the seminars accredited by the Ontario Building Envelope Council. The number of continuing education credits will be listed in the seminar description and will correspond to the length of time of each session.
 
Canadian Association of Home & Property Inspectors (CAHPI)
Earn Canadian Association of Home & Property Inspectors (CAHPI) Membership Renewal Credits by attending any of The Buildings Show seminars. The CAHPI MRCs will be issued based on the time length of the seminar. Attendees will earn 1 CAHPI credit for each hour seminar, 1.5 CAHPI credit for each hour and a half seminar, etc. Seminars which are 1 hour and 15 minutes long will only be granted 1 CAHPI credit.
 
All seminars offered at the conference are approved for CAHPI MRCs.
 
IDCEC
Earn IDCEC credits by attending a seminar and submitting your seminar’s certificate of completion to your profile
 
OAA ConEd Learning Hours
Earn OAA (Ontario Association of Architects) ConEd Structured learning hours. 1 OAA Structured Hour per session hour attended; seminars less than one hour in length are not eligible for OAA ConEd credit.

MAPEI’s Canadian footprint currently spans over 4,600 km, with production facilities in Québec, Ontario and British Columbia and a distribution center in Alberta.
