Workers within mining and mineral exploration are often exposed to workplace safety hazards that can include inappropriate behaviours such as sexual assault, sexual harassment, bullying, intimidation and discrimination. This workshop offers Bystander Intervention training using MTMA’s DIGGER Program for workers to safely intervene when inappropriate behaviour happens to them or in their presence, as well as guidance for recording information and reporting.
