INDUSTRIAL CLUTCH
The Model HC is an oil-immersed clutch designed for end-shaft, or through shaft mounting configuration. The compact size of the HC makes these units ideal for incorporation within a gear housing. Multiple speed transmissions use a variety of these units to affect fixed mesh speed changes. The Model HC may be used as a stand-alone device for disconnects service, or conveyor/mill soft starts.
The Model HBA is an oil-immersed brake designed for use on a drive train shaft extension. Unique friction plate grooving patterns, as well as the forced oil cooling feature allow the Model HBA brake to dissipate the heat generated by stopping the high energy loads common to today's heavy duty industrial equipment.
The Model CBH combination clutch/brake is an oil immersed unit with a spring-set brake and hydraulically actuated clutch designed for end of shaft mounting. It is designed for extremely high cycle rates, and for those applications requiring a high degree of stopping accuracy. The model CBH is ideal for turret punch press conversions.
The Model CBA is an oil immersed, combination clutch/brake, utilizing a self-contained cooling oil pumping system. It is a quill-mounted unit that may be used for either end of shaft or through-shaft designs. The Model CBA is designed to be compatible and complementary to our dry units.
The Model LKM marine clutch is a highly evolved version of the Model LK clutch, built for rugged use, long life, and excellent heat dissipation. This is a dry, disc type application.
The Model LKB is a spring-set, air or hydraulic released brake. This design offers a wide range of torque capacities and release pressures, with total attention given to maximizing ventilation for dissipating large thermal loads. This is a dry, disc type application.
The Model LKT clutch or brake contains identical features to the Model LK units with the exception being the cylinder piston arrangement. Whereas the Model LK unit has a full cylinder covering its entire outboard end, the Model LKT has a doughnut type cylinder which allows it to be mounted in a through-shaft arrangement as an air set brake. The design incorporates an extremely low driven inertia and the quickest response with minimal air consumption of any clutch or brake available.
The Model LK is a low driven inertia air set clutch. It is the ideal choice for end of shaft mounting arrangements. This is a dry, disc type application.
