Kenneth John Morrell - President

Ken's appointment to President of MRS brings over forty-two years experience in Industrial Sales and Marketing to this enterprise. His duties with the company encompass new market development and corporate activities. Ken lays down the strategies for global marketing activities, and he works very closely with MRS customers in applying solutions that meet their needs. Before joining the company, Ken served as President of Childers Products Limited, and previously, held the same position in Ty-Sisco Inc. Ken has served on many association committees, including the Insulation Metric Conversion Committee. He was a member of the Board of Directors of CAMESE , the Canadian Association of Mining Equipment and Services for Export.
 
Paul R. Côté, FICB - Vice President of Finance

Paul has been the Vice President of Finance and Administration for MRS since 1996. He overlooks the company's financial operations and is responsible for maintaining the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Standards. Paul brings over 38 years of experience to MRS and plays a vital role in financial and administration decisions.
Dr. Wisam Farjow, Ph.D, P.Eng. - Vice President, Engineering

Wisam oversees all MRS engineering activities throughout the world. Wisam has extensive experience in the design and management of complex engineering systems in the fields of underground mines and tunnel communication and safety systems.

Wisam has a Ph.D in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ryerson University in Toronto. He is a member of the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers (OSPE), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE), Project Management Institute (PMI), and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the province of Ontario, Canada (PEO).

Cindy Chesney CHRP, MCPC, MCBA - General Manager, Canadian Operations

Cindy oversees the day to day operations of MRS Inc., and is responsible for leading the Sales Team, coordinating Production and enhancing client satisfaction. She brings more than 9 years of internal sales, marketing, project management and customer care experience to the position which strengthens the Canadian operations and makes them more efficient. Cindy is a member of the Human Resource Professional Association of Ontario (HRPAO) and a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Fabian De Nobrega - Operations Manager, Canadian Manufacturing Facility

Fabian joined MRS Canada in late 2010 and is responsible for the operations at MRS’s Canadian manufacturing facility. He joins the team with over 18 years of electronics industry experience primarily in the automotive sector and 8 years in operations and production flow design. He brings with him a successful track record for steering process improvements, improved product quality and maximizing productivity through lean manufacturing principles.
Camilo Montiel Casiano - Sales Manager, MRS Latin America

Camilo oversees sales and operations in Latin American countries. His extensive education and field training has taken him overseas to Scotland, England and Germany, and his experience with the Navy in his native Mexico serves as an asset to MRS for developing the Latin American market. He has worked for numerous private and public sector clients such as the Mexican Navy, the Federal Electrical Comisión, PEMEX, IMSS, the governments of Tabasco, Veracruz, and Mexico City, and Penoles, Grupo Mexico, Luismin and Grupo Frisco in the mining industry.
Vadim Poberezkine - Business Development Manager, CIS

Vadim is responsible for the day-to-day operational control of our emerging market in all CIS countries, including Russia, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan since 2000. In this capacity, he oversees installations in Russia and CIS countries, including all planning, sales, project management and budgetary activities. Vadim, as professional radio-engineer prior to this post, served 15 years at VEF Research Institute (Flagship of ex-Soviet Union Radio Industry), as engineer-designer for mining telecommunication projects, and is well known among the Russian mining society.
Jingqiang (Ken) Lin - Business Development Manager, China

Ken Lin joined to MRS in 2005. He is responsible for our emerging market in China. In this capacity, he oversees sales, project management and budgetary activities. He graduated as a bachelor of science and had 12 years experience in the sales and marketing (9 years in Utilities Telecom industry) before this post. His previous experiences include sales and marketing development in China with Nortel-Lentronics Division and GE Multilin.
Pacifique Muheto - Inside Sales Representative

Pacifique comes to MRS from Maquet Dynamed Inc. as a bilingual sales support administrator for the last 4 years. Pacifique is responsible for all inside sales duties and tasks including coordinate and prepare routine responses for proposals, quotes and orders, support order management, support Canada Sales teams, monitors lead times and customer expectation.
Donald Sutherland - Communications and Safety Technical Service Representative

Donald Sutherland’s current responsibilities include field service technical support, customer support and service and technical integration. Spending most of his time on site, Donald is a primary point of contact for MRS customers.
 
Donald’s experience prior to MRS includes workshop manager for the cellphone repair company TRS, training manager at S3i and an Apple/Macintosh training and service manager.
Camilo Berber - Communications and Safety Technical Service Representative

Camilo is one of Mine Radio Systems Communication and Safety Technicians that provide training, commissioning and maintenance for mining and tunnelling solutions in the North American, South American and Vietnam markets. He is also a major asset in the planning and deployment of new solutions for new clients. He is certified by MSHA to work in some of the most hazardous areas and brings over six years experience and knowledge in radio communication and safety solutions.
Barb Grove - Document Administrator

Barb came to MRS as Receptionist in 2004. She is now responsible for coordinating the export and delivery of all air, ocean and ground shipments along with other administrative duties. She brings over 10 years experience in Administration including 18 years with Penguin Books.

The Electronic Test Supervisor will be responsible for daily supervision of the Test Department employees, reviewing and prioritizing the production/shipping schedule to ensure product is completed by the ship date and test/troubleshoot production electronic components and assemblies.

The Test Supervisor will be responsible for daily supervision of the Test Department employees, reviewing and prioritizing the production/shipping schedule to ensure product is completed by the ship date and test/troubleshoot production electronic components and assemblies.

Electrical Design Engineer – United States

The Electrical Design Engineer is responsible to design and develop a variety of electronic equipment and systems under the direction of the Vice President of Design Engineering.

Senior System Engineer – United States

The Senior System Engineer is responsible for designing and delivering customer solutions working with the Regional Sales Team, PBE Product Development, Operations, PBE Systems Engineering Team and directly with clients. 

Team Assembler II – United States

Team Assemblers II will work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product assigned by management staff.
