EPS will not degrade like other foam plastics and retains its R-value over the life of the building, providing exceptional insulation. Some foam plastics are subject to thermal drift, which decreasing their R-value over time. Our biscuit style joint systems also provide a superior air barrier, maintaining energy efficiency. Erected properly, Polycore building systems have long life with minimal maintenance and provide excellent protection from the elements, noise, and environmental wear.

 

Lightweight & Easily Handled

While the framing in the Polycore wall systems is galvanized steel framing studs, each panel is still light enough for one person to lift and maneuver. There are no special skills or tools required to set up the building system, and you won't require the heavy lifting equipment other systems require. A small crew with light hand tools can assemble an entire structure quickly and easily.

Polycore building systems are EPS framed with steel. Steel makes an ideal building material as it can be cut to an exact size and will not warp or shrink. Galvanized steel takes up very little space, but still provides lasting strength that is non-combustible and recyclable.
