With more than 30 years of experience in the heavy equipment industry as a diesel mechanic, parts & service rep, service manager, shop operator, and corporate owner/manager, Denis is one of northern Ontario’s most widely-respected leaders in industrial services. As CEO of NISG, Denis is focused on growing the business and providing dynamic employment opportunities for NISG team members. When Denis isn’t at the shop, you’ll find him at the cottage during hunting and fishing seasons.

Lonny Michel - Health & Safety Manager

Lonny began his safety career in 2000 working primarily as a Kinesiologist performing various workplace ergonomic assessments and physical demands analyses.  This helped to wet his appetite for the vast and complicated safety world. Lonny graduated in 1999 with a Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology . In 2008 he became a Canadian Registered Safety Professional.  The majority of his experience came as the Health and Safety Coordinator with the City of Timmins, which provided him the opportunity to obtain experience in a wide variety of environments including Health Care, Industrial Plants, Construction and Surface Mining.  In 2012 Lonny also completed the OHSAS 18001 Lead Auditor Training.  In addition to his safety consulting role, Lonny is also an accomplished trainer and a college instructor.  His specialties include ergonomics, musculoskeletal injuries, confined space, hazard assessment and emergency preparedness.  He is a trainer in the following programs: Conflict Resolution, Basic Certification, Ergonomics, First Aid/CPR, Incident Investigation, Workplace Inspections, Material Handling, Traffic Control and WHMIS.  Lonny is also very active in the community.  He has served as the Health and Safety Networking Chapter lead for the past 9 years, Young Worker Awareness Instructor and has served as a volunteer on the local Health and Safety Conference Planning Committee.  He is active in recreation, coaching and volunteering in many activities in the Timmins area.

Jason grew up on a farm, so from a young age he developed considerable skills including teamwork, equipment operations, and animal care. He transitioned to mining where he acquired extensive experience at Royal Oak and Placer Dome before moving on to the world of contractors. As the Superintendent at NISG Jason says his most memorable job was a major water-main replacement along Algonquin Blvd. that was completed in nearly half the time which allowed the Timmins Connecting Link to open two days earlier than scheduled. When Jason isn’t supervising projects across northeastern Ontario he spends his time coaching hockey, snowmobiling and motocross racing.

Denis  Boissoneault - Field Operations Manager

Denis has an extensive background in residential and commercial services and he now leads one of NISG’s largest industrial divisions – the former IMS group. From hazmat training, to confined space rescue, and supervisor training, Denis is also a certified health and safety representative. One of Denis’ most memorable projects was his involvement in the construction phase at Detour Gold and more community of Kashechewan.

Kevin Vincent - Communications/ Training

Kevin brings more than 30 years of radio, television, newspaper and business experience to NISG. Kevin's goal as the Director of Communications, Training and Client Relations is to assist NISG in distancing itself from the competition. The long-term corporate strategy is to distinguish NISG as the premiere industrial service provider in the North. The combined divisions of Timmins Disposal, IMS, Heritage Paving, and Techno Metal Post represent more than 150 years of industrial service excellence in northeastern Ontario.
