About International Iron Metallics Association (iima)
IIMA is a global industry association whose members account for more than 80% of production and international trade in ore-based metallics (pig iron, hot briquetted iron, direct reduced iron, granulated pig iron).
Our mission
- promote the use of ore-based metallics as value-adding raw materials for the iron and steel and ferrous casting industries;
- represent the collective interests of Members in international industry, trade, and regulatory forums;
- collect and provide statistical and other industry information, commercially sensitive or proprietary information always excluded;
- provide a forum for co-operation and exchange of ideas and information on scientific and technical matters related to the ore-based metallics industries.
