A family business since 1962
Tremcar has evolved over time. Originally it only manufactured milk tanks. Today, its production output includes tank trailers as well as stainless steel and aluminum tank trucks for the transport of all kinds of liquid and dry products. Tremcar manufactures more than 1000 tanks per year, in its 6 factories in North America: Tremcar Inc, Tremcar USA Inc., Tremcar Industries Inc., Boston Steel, division of Tremcar USA, Asybco, Location Tremlease Leasing and Tremcar West. These sister companies are in action all over North America to offer you optimal sale, rental, repair or sale of parts service for your tanks at the best price.
Tremcar is one of the 4 largest tank trailer manufacturers in North America, serving nearly 5,000 customers in its factories, two of which are located in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu (Quebec), one in St-Césaire (Quebec), one in London (Ontario), one in Strasburg (Ohio) and another in Haverhill (Massachusetts). Tremcar also offers the rental service via Location Tremlease Leasing. In addition to the newly manufactured units, we have used units in inventory (stock) and we take trade-ins.

HISTORY
Family owned business
Tremcar was founded in 1962 by the Tougas brothers, Aldé and Léo, under the name of A & L Tougas Ltd. The two brothers were welders by trade. The business specialized in the fabrication of stainless steel tankers trailers dedicated to the transportion of milk between the farms and the dairies of Québec.
During the next few decades, the business grew with the expansion of the dairy industry in Quebec. At the end of the 1980’s, the business’s annual sales was about 3 million dollars. Today the company is selling across North America, creates jobs in the United States as well as in Western Canada and their annual sales has skyrocketed to 160 million dollars.

Technicien(ne) contrôle qualité
Sous la responsabilité du Directeur d’usine, l’inspecteur aura comme principales tâches:
- Faire l’inspection des citernes selon les requis de la SAAQ : test d’eau, test d’air
- S’assurer de la conformité des citernes selon les normes du transport de matière dangereuse
Adjoint(e) administratif(ve)
Sous la responsabilité du directeur d’usine, l’adjointe à la programmation aura comme principales tâches:
-Créer, imprimer et fermer les bons de production
-Gérer les inventaires de pièces (kanban)
