The Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) is the leading voice of the mineral exploration and development community. With over 7,500 members around the world, PDAC’s work centres on supporting a competitive, responsible mineral sector. PDAC is known worldwide for its annual PDAC Convention—the premier international event for the industry—that has attracted over 25,000 attendees from 135 countries in recent years and will next be held March 7-10, 2021 in Toronto.

 

The work of the association is carried out by a 26-member Board of Directors, 16 committees, and a team of permanent staff. In 2018, the Board of Directors approved a five-year strategic plan for PDAC. The strategic goals and objectives in this plan centre around the themes of: competitiveness, influence, engagement and leadership.
