About Us

 
The Anishinaabeg of Nagaajiwanaang, also known as Naicatchewenin, inhabited a region in the northwest portion of Ontario, an area comprised in the Northwest Angle Treaty of 1873, also known as Treaty 3. Nagaajiwanaang is located approximately 60 km northwest of Fort Frances, with the community of Devlin 50 km to the south on Highway 17. The city of Thunder Bay lies 420 km to the east and Winnipeg is 450km to the northwest. Geographic location is 48o 51′ 0″ North and 93o 34′ 59″ West.
