In 1920, our grandfather Stanislas Huot surrounded himself with a team of like-minded individuals who shared his love for a job well-done. With them, he opened a machine shop that started out providing repair and maintenance services for rotary presses and dairy equipment before expanding into machinery repair and installation.

In 1942, our fathers Félix and André Huot took over the management and in the ‘50’s, went about completely reorganizing the company’s operations. In 1976, we became the third generation to hold the Huot family name high in the metallurgic industry. And, like our grandfather before us, we are lucky to count on a team that continually strives to reach new heights of excellence.

The Huot family tradition is based on a common will to excel - which is enshrined in our company's mission: To be known as the leader for its multidisciplinary expertise in providing solutions requiring the integration of great capabilities in machining and mechanical repair services as well as in designing,manufacturing and installation of industrial equipments for various industries such as forestry,mining,energy,transportation and/or any others areas requiring innovative and quality solutions.

Today, we benefit from know-how accumulated over the course of 90 years of excellence in the metallurgic industry. We continue to be driven by the desire to remain up to date with the latest technology, and by our total commitment to quality.
