Mine Cable Services (MCS)designs and manufactures high voltage cable connection systems including couplers and junction boxes covering a range from 5kV to 25kV.

These systems are used in both open pit and underground mining activities. MCS also services and provides equipment for tunnel boring machines, container port cranes and forestry crane operations.

In addition, MCS has developed equipment to repair electrical cable as used in mining operations in such a manner to bring the cable back to original manufacturer's specifications.

MCS manufactures a variety of strain relief clamps, mining cross-over mats, cable handling and safety equipment, all of which are designed for electrical systems.

Our facilities include in-house design capability, 3D solid modelling and CAM programming, extensive CNC machine shop and complete fabrication facilities.

MCS also provides on-site cable repair services for emergency situations as well as cable repair training. MCS will also work with your Operations Group  through an on-site system evaluation to help assess your needs in regards to cable handling and care.

MCS produces custom designed products to suit individual operations. Whether it is a special cable skid, cable reeler, junction box or cable repair shack, MCS aims to supply what you need exactly how you want it.
