AZ Transport Driver/Operator

- Operate motorized vehicles to move materials between sites.
- Role will train on the ability to operate all equipment including: Vacuum Train, Tanker, Van Trailer, Dump Trailer
- Position is mainly a Monday to Friday Role with weekend optional overtime
- Accurately complete numerous and various documents, including pre/post trip inspections, manifests, log books, VCRs, etc., in a legible manner to meet compliance requirements.

- Ensure that all equipment and systems are being operated to Terrapure’s standards.
- Follow all Environmental, Health & Safety policies, procedures, protocol requirement

- Experience, Qualifications & Education
- Two years directly related experience as a Driver/Operator preferred
- High School diploma or Equivalent.
- Must possess an AZ license and submit current abstracts, personal and CVOR (no demerits unless explainable).
- Knowledge of TDGA, Reg. 347/558, WMHIS, MTO, MOE and DOT regulations is preferred.
- Demonstrated physical ability to do the work, which includes, but is not limited to, lengthy sitting, climbing and heavy lifting.
- Solid written communication skills in order to complete required paperwork, and possess effective verbal communication skills to interact with internal and external customers.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and think proactively.
- Excellent customer service skills, with strong work ethic and positive attitude to represent the Terrapure brand effectively and favorably.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft programs including Excel, Access, Word, and Outlook.
- Willingness to learn new skills and expand knowledge through duties assigned.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

As a Chemical Technician, your primary role is to sort and repack chemical hazardous waste within the facility.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be primarily responsible for industrial cleaning at various industrial locations throughout New Scotia.
Responsibilities include: Packing/bulking, loading, securing and transporting various waste streams throughout Ontario.
Reporting to the Sales Support Manager, the Customer Service Representative will be the initial point of contact for prospective and inactive customers to small automotive and manufacturing customers.
