Position Description
 
Reporting to the Supervisor of Emergency Services, the Emergency Response Operator will be responsible for responding to emergency service calls as they relate to hazardous material. This is a safety sensitive role and requires strong attention to detail, safety adherence and professionalism.
 
Key Accountabilities
 
  • Respond in safe and efficient manner to calls
  • Working closely with third party government agencies (MOE) on behalf of clientele
  • Documentation and submission of various reports (team leader reports, spill action reports and cost assessments)
  • Prepare manifests and shipping documents for each assigned job
  • Lead and work alongside crew of responders on various job sites
  • Assist with maintenance of equipment and shop
 
Experience, Qualifications & Education
 
  • Minimum high school education (OSSD)
  • Dangerous Goods training is a definite asset
  • Must possess DZ license; AZ is preferred
  • Must be available to work all shifts
  • Must be available to be on call per on-call rotation
  • Must be a great communicator, self-motivated and diligent with paperwork
 
This is a safety sensitive position. Offers of employment are conditional upon the successful completion of a drug and alcohol test (if applicable).

Reporting to the Supervisor of Emergency Services, the Emergency Response Operator will be responsible for responding to emergency service calls as they relate to hazardous material.

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the BRP Operator is responsible for transporting raw materials and recyclable materials throughout the plant.

As a Chemical Technician, your primary role is to sort and repack chemical hazardous waste within the facility.

Responsibilities include: Packing/bulking, loading, securing and transporting various waste streams throughout Ontario.

Reporting to the Sales Support Manager, the Customer Service Representative will be the initial point of contact for prospective and inactive customers to small automotive and manufacturing customers.
