Trelawney Mining and Exploration Inc. (Trelawney) is a junior exploration company engaged in the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties with a primary interest in gold. The Company is focusing its exploration efforts in Chester Township, Porcupine Mining Division, in central Ontario and also in the South of Gogama, Ontario. Its Chester/Yeo property property consists of three claims with 14 units. Its Mishibishu Lake property consists of four claim blocks totaling, 328 claim units in the Mishibishu greenstone belt in the Wawa area in central Ontario. In November 2011, the Company acquired interest of Augen Gold Corp. On November 23, 2011, The Company announced that it had completed the exercise of its options on the Chester Property. On June 21, 2012, IAMGOLD Corporation acquired the Company.
