Industrial Diesel Products has been selling engine heaters since 1992. Canada invented COLD weather and we know how to start engines in FROZEN winters. TITAN pad heaters are distributed worldwide and during the past 20 years shipments have been delivered in over 20 countries.
TITAN Pad Heaters are 0.075" (1.9mm) thin flexible heating pads that are attached to the outside of an oil pan or metal fluid reservoir such as a hydraulic tank. The pad incorportes a special "hi-tech" peel back adhesive on one side that bonds onto the metal surface. Once installed, the heater pad will never fall off.
Pad Heaters are supplied with everything required for a complete installation; no special tools or skills are required. No hoses to cut, frost plugs to remove or loss of antifreeze. Remember, heat rises up! TITAN Pad Heaters can be custom designed for individual commercial applications.
TITAN Fuel Filter Heaters are 0.075" (1.9mm) thin flexible heating pads that are attached to the outside of fuel filters. The TITAN Fuel Filter Heater incorportes an adjustable velcro band that facilitates the ease of fitment to numerous sizes of oil filters.
Cold weather creates fluid flow problems with fuel and oil filters. Fuel and oil becomes too thick to pass through the fine pores within the filter element; consequently the fuel gels and it won't flow with the result that the engine will not start.
Fuel filters also suffer from additional restrictions if there is any water or moisture in the fuel which will freeze in the filter element.
Engine wear is increased when the flow of lubricating oil is restricted in the filter element. TITAN Pad Heaters can be custom designed for individual commercial applications.
