Supervisor Training for DOT & Workplace

Aug 21, 2013

DOT regulations make Supervisor Training mandatory. Designated individuals must be trained a minimum of one hour on controlled substance use and one hour on alcohol misuse. Our workplace clients have availability and access to both on-line and in class supervisor training.

On-Line Supervisor Training:

DriverCheck offers on-line supervisor training for both workplace clients and those following DOT regulations. Taking advantage of this on-line opportunity is the most efficient means of internal employee education. Click here for more information.

In-Class Supervisor Training:

In addition, DriverCheck can refer your company to providers of in-class supervisor training. This typically consists of a half day to an all day program that includes, among other things, procedures for assessing a driver before initiating a reasonable suspicion/reasonable cause drug or alcohol test. (DOT regulations require that only trained supervisors can request a reasonable suspicion test.)
