Hercules SLR Inc. is a privately owned Canadian company headquartered in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, with distribution centers located throughout the country. Founded in 1985, Hercules SLR has grown to 15 locations throughout 6 provinces and over 200 employees to assist you by providing creative and safe material handling solutions.

 

The company has been an ISO registered company since 1999. Our specialty is equipment, products and services for securing, lifting and rigging applications. Hercules SLR is home to a number of exclusive brands:

• CertTracker® is our 100% web based certificate and asset tracking system that provides our customers with the ability to easily access, from any computer, their current and past inspection certificates.

• Slingmaster® slings are Hercules brand of wire rope, synthetic and chain slings, providing our customers with superior quality and reliability.

• Blue Edge Guard® is specially coated threads on the edge of our synthetic web slings that help guard against cut and abrasions, increasing the life of our slings.

• Blue Pin Shackles® can be identified by the blue colored pin and are well known in our industry for their high quality.

Hercules Inspection and Training division was formed in 1999 and serves both the offshore and onshore industries. Our factory trained technicians inspect, repair and certify hoists, winches, overhead cranes and various fall arrest and protection equipment. Our certified inspectors are trained in the inspection of wire rope, wire rope slings, chain, chain slings, web slings, round slings and related hardware. We also provide training seminars on wire rope examination and lifting gear inspection based on current industry standards and The Crosby Group specifications.

 

Hercules SLR also has several full rigging shops, complete with pull test beds that are approved by Lloyds Register. With our one-stop shops, you will experience reduced costs, less paperwork, and fewer contacts – equaling – quicker turnaround time, enhanced service and exceptional finished projects.
