About the Company

Our history begins in 1963 when Delstar Electromécanique Inc. was founded by M. Raymond Sarazin.

Specialized in the repair and overhaul of electrical motors, our fast growth allows Delstar to compete with well-established majors and become a reference in the industry for the quality of its workmanship and knowhow. A couple of years later, in 1975, the creation of Ateliers Omega improves our offer by bringing complementary welding, machining and fabrication services.

Throughout the years, in an effort to consolidate its knowhow, develop its expertise and improve its premises, Delstar and Omega engaged in a continuous improvement process that still integrates to this day:
- A technical skills development program
- Constant research of new repair techniques
- Implementation of well recognized Kaisen principles
- A management plan well integrated to our operations
- A strict and precise control of our process and customer satisfaction measurement

In 1997, we acquired Les Services Électromécaniques Roberge. This Quebec based business founded in 1928 allowed Delstar to extend our territory in the eastern-Quebec regions. In 2003, Les Services Électromécaniques Roberge acquires a strategic location in Baie-Comeau, opening the Côte-Nord market.

Solution TechnoSpray is created in 2006. This new service poses a complementarity with the other business units, offering advanced metallurgical and ceramic coatings, a technology that was under-developed in Quebec.
Between 2007 and 2009, the various business units underwent a consolidation period to become a sole entity: Delom Services.

Almost 50 years and three generations later, we can now say without shame that we are a leader on the North-American market. For close to 50 years, we repair once and for all!

We are proud of our history, proud of the man and woman that write its pages every day. More that ever, Delom Services is running on expertise!
