Science North is Northern Ontario’s most popular tourist attraction and an educational resource for children and adults across the province. Science North maintains the second- and eighth-largest science centres in Canada:
Science North, featuring an IMAX® theatre, digital Planetarium, butterfly gallery and Special Exhibits Hall, and
Dynamic Earth - Home of the Big Nickel, an earth sciences centre.
 
In addition to the two science centres in Sudbury, Science North also oversees an award-winning Large Format Film production unit and an Exhibit Sales and Service unit, which develops custom and ready-made exhibits for sale or lease to science centres, museums, and other cultural institutions all over the world.
 
Science North, in partnership with Laurentian University, have developed North America's first and only comprehensive Science Communication program, a 10-month joint graduate diploma program.
 
Science North also has a base in Thunder Bay, Ontario, providing science experiences to Northwestern Ontario schools and festivals, as well as summer science camps and more.

Science Demonstrator After School Science Kids Program

Science North is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic individual to work with our Education and Northern Programs team in the delivery and coordination of its after school science program. 

Canada Intern

You’ll be working with a fun group of people across Canada! What’s even more exciting is you’ll be helping to develop programs to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Canadian Confederation. This is a paid internship with a one year duration at a rate of $19.20/hr.
